The Mace Energy Method
A gentle way of letting go of what's been holding you back
Most of us carry things we've never quite put down. Old hurts, patterns we keep repeating, reactions we don't understand. The voice that says "this is just who I am."
The Mace Energy Method is the approach I use to help people let go of those things. Not by talking them through endlessly or analysing them. By clearing them at their root.
What is it?
The Mace Energy Method (MEM) was developed by John Mace as the practical side of a wider understanding of the mind called Causism.
The idea at its heart is simple. Over our lives, often without realising it, we create identities and patterns to help us survive difficult moments. "I'm not good enough." "I have to keep everyone happy." "I can't ask for help." They made sense at the time. But long after the moment has passed, they're still running in the background, shaping how we feel, what we choose and who we think we are.
MEM works with those patterns as energy. With guidance, you locate them and let them go, for good.
What's a session like?
There's nothing you need to prepare, and you don't need to share your story or relive anything painful. Much of the work happens without you having to tell me the details at all.
I'll guide you through a series of simple steps. You stay in control throughout. Many people are surprised by how light and clear they feel afterwards.
Sessions can take place in person or online.
Why I use it
I've explored a lot of approaches over the years, both for myself and in my work. MEM is the one that made the biggest difference. It doesn't ask you to become someone new. It helps you clear away what was never really you in the first place.
That's what Back to Being You is about: becoming who you are.
Who it can help
MEM can help if you:
- keep finding yourself stuck in the same patterns
- feel weighed down by things from the past
- react in ways you don't understand or don't like
- have lost touch with who you really are underneath it all
It sits at the heart of my Release sessions. Find out more about Release →
